Hamburg 2009
A long time ago I traveled to the land of my forefathers and visited Hamburg, Germany. As is my liking, I wandered the streets aimlessly and discovered sites one would not necessarily find as a tourist. Here is a snapshot of what I saw, set to some famous German composers.
I Still Remember Fudge the Cat
I Still Remember
by Hannah Wiebe
I still remember how soft your fur was,
I still remember, I still remember,
I still remember your cute little face,
I still remember, I still remember,
I still remember your meow,
Meow Meow Meow, it went
I still remember when you played with your ball and string,
I still remember, I still remember,
I still remember when you slept with me,
I still remember, I still remember,
I still remember the day you died,
I still remember,
I still remember
and I love you

Waiting in the Mist
by Emma Wiebe
Cool mist surrounded me
I felt a shiver down my back
But I still waited
I didn't know what I was waiting for
I just knew it was to some here
Mist.
It makes me see things
Frightening things
Makes me think some one is going to come out
And grab me
Yet I still stayed
In the quit mist
I waited.
Not knowing what was going to happen
Not knowing weather I was going to live
or die
Not knowing what to do.
I wondered
How was I going to get back?
Thoughts Wondered in my head
Confusing me
But I still waited
